Job summary

UniSuper is seeking a Senior Internal Audit Manager - Technology to lead complex technology and project assurance. You will partner with the Head of Internal Audit to influence audit priorities and deliver credible assurance across technology, cyber security, data, resilience and change.

You will drive improvements to our audit methodology and operating model while leading senior stakeholder engagement in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in risk-based technology audits for regulated sectors.
• Strong knowledge of cyber security, IAM, cloud, infrastructure and data controls.
• Ability to influence audit priorities and delivery through complex environments.

About you

You're an established technology audit professional with the technical depth and judgement to lead complex assurance work while influencing outcomes without formal authority. You'll enjoy partnering with senior stakeholders, navigating ambiguity and translating complex technology risks into practical recommendations.

• Extensive experience in complex risk-based technology audits, preferably in financial services, superannuation or another highly regulated environment.


• Strong knowledge across cyber security, identity and access management, cloud, infrastructure, applications, IT operations, resilience, data and change.


• Advanced knowledge of the IIA Global Internal Audit Standards and governance, risk and control frameworks.


• Significant experience across internal audit, external audit, technology risk or assurance.


• Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and communication skills, including with executive and governance stakeholders.


• Relevant tertiary qualifications, with CIA, CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CISM, CA, CPA or equivalent certifications desirable.
