Job summary

3D Accounting, based in Thirroul, seeks an experienced public practice accountant to prepare financial statements and tax returns for companies, partnerships, trusts and SMSFs, with advisory support. A flexible 37.5-hour week with Fridays from home, or 4 days/30 hours, and other mutually suitable arrangements are offered to support work-life balance.

The role requires a minimum of 4 years in Australian Public Practice, CPA/CA or in progress, and front-facing client experience.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree required or in progress with CPA/CA
• Minimum 4 years in Australian Public Practice
• Front-facing client experience essential

Responsibilities

• Prepare Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for companies, partnerships, trusts, sole traders and SMSFs
• Prepare Interim Accounts in Xero and MYOB for BAS lodgment
• Pre-June Review - Tax planning with Principal
• Prepare FBT returns
• NSW Payroll Tax reconciliations and lodgments
• Organise/provide financials for financing facilities
• Quarterly Management Accounting and KPIs for key clients
• Champion software advancement and technology in accounting processes
