Are you an experienced public practice accountant looking for a role that can actually fit around your life?

We are a small, established accounting firm based in Berwick and we're looking for an experienced accountant who knows their way around Australian tax and financial statements, enjoys getting work completed, and wants flexibility.

The Role

You’ll primarily assist with the preparation and completion of:

• Financial statements for companies and trusts
• Income tax returns for companies, trusts and individuals
• Tax compliance work across a range of small business clients
• Other business services and taxation work depending on your experience

This is a hands-on role, and you’ll be expected to manage your workflow and meet agreed KPIs around taxable group completions.

Who We’re Looking For

The key requirement is recent Australian public practice experience.

You’ll need to have worked in an Australian public practice accounting firm within the last five years and be comfortable preparing financial statements and income tax returns with a reasonable level of independence.

You’ll also be:

• Accurate and efficient
• Comfortable managing deadlines and workflow
• Able to communicate well with clients and the rest of our team
• Accountable for getting work through to completion
• Comfortable working with modern accounting and tax software
• Someone who enjoys being part of a small, friendly team

CA/CPA qualifications are welcome.
