Job summary

Clyde & Co in Sydney is seeking an experienced insurance litigator to join our team, working with Partner and national practice lead Luke O'Kane on complex, high-value insurance disputes and major loss matters.

You will handle sophisticated coverage and defence work across catastrophic injury, product liability, regulatory investigations and multi-party litigation, within a supportive, top-tier environment.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of PQE in commercial or insurance litigation.
• Australian-qualified lawyers encouraged to apply.
• Strong written and verbal communication and drafting skills.
• Ability to supervise junior lawyers and take ownership of matters.

Responsibilities

• Litigate complex, high-value insurance disputes and major loss matters.
• Collaborate with partners on coverage and defence work.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers within the team.
• Engage with clients and external counsel across matters.
• Manage multiple matters with competing priorities to a high standard.
