Job summary

Clyde & Co Australia in Sydney is seeking an ambitious Law Graduate to join the Disputes & Insurance Coverage practice, gaining exposure to complex disputes across defence, coverage and indemnity matters in multiple lines of insurance. You will work with leading practitioners, including the National Head of Insurance, and collaborate across Clyde & Co's international network.

Qualifications

Strong academic credentials with a record of academic achievement.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
Interest in a global law firm environment and development of disputes skills.
Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration, plus ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Attend client meetings and matter planning meetings.
Prepare file notes, memorandums and summaries of discussions.
Assist with client files and maintenance of documents.
Draft, analyse and interpret various legal documents and correspondence.
Draft court documents and file them; undertake research and prepare memoranda.
Support creation of bundles and pleadings and assist with business development materials.
Daily reporting and administration.
