Job summary

BMD Constructions in Wentworth Point, NSW, seeks an experienced Planner to drive project programmes for major infrastructure across Australia. You will collaborate with Project Directors, operations teams and the Regional Planning Manager to develop and maintain high‑quality schedules that support tender outcomes and execution.

With 7+ years in civil planning, you will manage complex programmes using Primavera P6 and MS Project, mentor junior planners, and contribute to risk, change and claims

Qualifications

• 7+ years of planning/scheduling experience in civil construction.
• On-site experience with construction methodology.
• Water/wastewater project exposure is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and practical programming advice to tender, project and leadership teams.
• Review tender documentation to identify scope, contract requirements and programme impacts.
• Develop robust, optimised construction programmes for tenders and live projects using multiple software platforms.
• Prepare fully resourced and costed baseline programmes to support budgeting and forecasting.
• Monitor and update project progress against milestones, KPIs and earned value metrics.
• Identify risks, opportunities and critical path movements and advise mitigation strategies.
• Support contractual claims and extensions of time, and programme-based submissions.
• Mentor junior planners and contribute to capability development.
