Job summary

City of Moreton Bay is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Planner to guide the growth of the city through strategic infrastructure planning and policy development. The role leads complex projects and engages with Council, government and industry partners to deliver sustainable outcomes.

You will provide technical leadership, support collaboration, and help shape infrastructure standards while enjoying a flexible, hybrid work arrangement with on-site Strathpine presence.

Qualifications

• demonstrated experience delivering complex planning or infrastructure projects from inception through to implementation.
• strong knowledge of relevant planning legislation, including the Planning Act 2016, SEQ Regional Plan, planning schemes, local laws and policy frameworks.
• proven project management and risk management capabilities.
• exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex planning matters into clear and concise advice.
• strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in infrastructure network planning, precinct planning or infrastructure policy and standards development will be highly regarded.

As the Senior Infrastructure Planner you will provide specialist infrastructure planning expertise to help guide the growth of City of Moreton Bay.

You’ll lead strategic-level infrastructure planning projects, contribute to the development of infrastructure policy and planning frameworks, and work closely with stakeholders across Council, government and industry to deliver sustainable outcomes for our communities.

About you

We are seeking anexperienced planning professional with a strong background in strategic land use and infrastructure planning. You will enjoy working on complex projects, balancing strategic thinking with practical delivery, and can confidently provide expert advice to a variety of stakeholders.

You will bring;

Experience in infrastructure network planning, precinct planning or infrastructure policy and standards development will be highly regarded.

You will have a degree qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning or equivalent in a related discipline and acurrent C Class Driver's Licence.
