Job summary

Lookahead is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in Canberra to own application packaging and endpoint configuration as a federal agency modernises its desktop environment to Intune and Windows 11 SOE.

You will package and deploy Win32 and MSIX apps, configure Intune policies, review SCCM/MECM processes, write PowerShell scripts, and produce clear documentation while working onsite in Canberra with security clearance.

Qualifications

Experience packaging and deploying Win32 and MSIX through Intune.
Hybrid/cloud joined Windows 11 devices configuration and troubleshooting.
End-to-end endpoint management experience across SOE, SCCM/MECM, Entra ID, DNS/DHCP and VPN.
Strong technical writing with ability to produce clear documentation.

Responsibilities

Package, test and deploy applications using Microsoft Intune, covering Win32 and MSIX formats.
Configure and maintain Intune device management and compliance policies for Windows 11.
Review SCCM/MECM deployment task sequences and extend Windows Autopilot automation.
Write PowerShell scripts to automate deployment and operational tasks.
Produce clear technical documentation, knowledge base articles and support guides.
Provide senior level technical support for the SOE and endpoint management environment.
