Job summary

Resolve Recruit is seeking experienced Infrastructure Engineers to support a large-scale desktop modernization program for a Federal Government client in Canberra. The role focuses on packaging, endpoint management and transitioning hybrid Windows 11 devices to a fully Entra joined environment with Passwordless authentication.

You will package, test and deploy applications via Microsoft Intune, maintain SOE compliance, and contribute to automation and documentation that underline a secure modern

Qualifications

• Experience with Win32/MSIX packaging for Intune-managed devices.
• Experience configuring Intune and endpoint policies.
• Experience with SCCM/MECM deployments and Windows Autopilot automation.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Ability to design and document as-built configurations.

Responsibilities

• Package, test and deploy applications using Microsoft Intune (Win32 and MSIX).
• Configure and administer Intune device management and endpoint configuration policies.
• Review SCCM/MECM deployment task sequences and enhance Windows Autopilot automation.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate deployment, configuration and support.
• Produce technical documentation, knowledge base articles and procedures.
• Provide Level 3 technical support across SOE, packaging and endpoint management.

Resolve Recruit is seeking multiple experienced Infrastructure Engineers to support a large-scale desktop modernisation program for a Federal Government client. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on application packaging, endpoint management and the ongoing transition of hybrid joined Windows 11 devices to a fully Entra joined SOE with Passwordless authentication.

You will work alongside a vendor and internal project teams to package, test and deploy applications through Microsoft Intune, maintain SOE compliance and configuration, and contribute to the automation and documentation that underpins a modern, secure desktop environment. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys practical, technically detailed work with real visibility over the end-to-end application lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Package, test and deploy applications using Microsoft Intune (Win32 and MSIX)

• Review SCCM/MECM operating system deployment task sequences and enhance Windows Autopilot automation
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate deployment, configuration and operational support
• Produce technical documentation, knowledge base articles and support procedures

Experience & Skills

• Win32/MSIX app packaging and deployment for Intune-managed Windows 11 devices.
• Intune configuration and troubleshooting across hybrid and cloud-joined Windows 11 devices.
• Microsoft endpoint services support across SOE, Intune, SCCM/MECM, Entra, DNS, DHCP and Always-On VPN.
• Technical writing including knowledge base articles and instructional documents.
• Design and architecture documentation including as-built configuration records.
