Job summary

Experis Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement and manage enterprise infrastructure platforms that support business-critical services and High Performance Computing workloads.

You will deliver storage, backup, virtualization, and data centre infrastructure, applying IaC, CI/CD, and security practices in a collaborative, high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and supporting enterprise storage environments.
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
• Expertise in designing, deploying and managing VMware virtualization environments.
• Understanding data centre infrastructure for HPC and storage environments.
• Experience in enterprise infrastructure environments and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to strategic planning, design, implementation and maintenance of enterprise high-performance storage solutions (SAN, NAS, object storage).
• Manage complex architectural design, deployment, and ongoing storage capacity, performance and data protection.
• Provide technical expertise to ensure infrastructure solutions align with architectures and operational models.
• Design and upkeep data centre facility and network infrastructure components for compute, storage and virtualization.
• Apply IaC, CI/CD and version control to ensure robust deployments across Kubernetes and underlying infrastructure.
