Job summary

Atturra is seeking a motivated Project Coordinator/Manager to join our Cloud Business Solutions team in Canberra and apply their project management and coordination skills to a Federal Government project. You will support the management of multiple concurrent ICT application projects from initiation through to closure, in line with the client’s project management methodology.

Due to project security requirements, you must already hold an active AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance to be considered for

• 4+ years of experience delivering Agile projects in Federal Government contexts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in refining and defining project scope based on approved briefs and costing.
• Assist in negotiating and managing access to ICT resources across a matrixed organisation.
• Prepare project artefacts including Delivery Plan, Change Requests, status reports, spend forecasts, risk/issue/change registers.
• Assist in review/approval of technical artefacts such as user/functional specifications.
• Facilitate regular project status meetings with Agency stakeholders; act as a contact for risks and conflicts.

What you’ll be doing

Atturra is seeking a motivated Project Coordinator/Manager to join our Cloud Business Solutions team in Canberra and apply their project management and coordination skills to a Federal Government project.

You will support the management of multiple concurrent ICT application projects from initiation through to closure, in line with the client’s project management methodology.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about innovative technology and customer transformation. The successful candidate will communicate effectively with diverse audiences, demonstrate strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills, lead technical groups, and confidently manage critical customer issues.

Due to project security requirements, you must already hold an active AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in facilitating the refinement and definition of project scope, based on the approved project brief and costing, with business and ICT teams
• Assist in negotiating and manage access to and performance of ICT resources across a matrixed organisation
• Prepare project management artefacts including ICT Delivery Plan, Project Change Requests (where required), project status reports, project financial spend phasings and forecasts, risk register, issue register and change register
• Assist on facilitating the review and approval of technical artefacts such as user/functional specifications
• Assist regular project status meetings involving all Agency stakeholders; and
• Act as a point of contact for risks, issues and conflicts between ICT teams and between ICT and business.

What will make you successful in this role?

Technical Expertise:

• 4+ years of experience of Agile Project Delivery in Federal Government projects, preferably in Law Enforcement related Federal Government Agencies
• Experience in contract scope / scope management
• Experience in building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders and delivery teams
• Demonstrated ability to promote continuous improvement of team environments using agile principles
• Experience delivering applications with sound technical knowledge
• Demonstrated ability to manage project objectives such as scope, budget and schedules
• Must hold an already active AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance
• Have effective written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technicalaudiences
• Ability to effectively recognise and adapt tochange
• Ability to work independently and in a teamenvironment
• Must be able to communicate with and present to a variety of different audiences, and
• Have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals in a diversecommunity.

Highly Desirable:

• PRINCE2 certification, PRINCE2 Agile certification
• MSP Certification
• Other relevant project management certifications
• Technological depth and breadth, tactical cross-skills and IP tools, we straddle the path between advice, implementation, and adoption.
