Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking an Incident Response Sr. Consultant to lead remediation engagements for clients across regions, including remote AUS operations. You will conduct advanced host and network forensics on Windows, Mac, and Linux, guiding customers through threat actor activity.

The role emphasizes clear reports, presentations to executives, and contributing to thought leadership with blogs and events, leveraging AI-enabled workflows to accelerate incident response.

Qualifications

• Incident Response investigations for organizations incl. targeted threats.
• Use of forensic analysis tools to determine scope of compromise.
• Knowledge of network protocols and analysis of logs.
• Ability to create remediation plans for compromised organizations.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence and adversary attribution.
• Strong written and oral communication; capable of presenting to executives.
• GCFA or GCIH or equivalent certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident response engagements.
• Perform advanced host and/or network-based forensics across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
• Advise organizations while they respond to threat actor activity.
• Produce high-quality written and verbal reports, presentations, recommendations, and findings to customer management.
• Present technical material to non-technical and technical audiences.
• Demonstrate industry thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and other public speaking events.
