Job summary

CrowdStrike in Australia is seeking a Senior Incident Response Consultant to lead reactive and proactive security engagements across APAC. This role is remote (AUS) with flexibility to work across multiple remote sites, requiring hands-on expertise in incident response, forensics, and threat intelligence.

You will mentor less experienced teammates, produce high-quality reports for customer management, and present complex technical findings to both executives and technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting or managing incident response investigations for organisations against targeted threats such as APTs, Organized Crime, and Hacktivists.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident response engagements across APAC and ensure timely remediation of security incidents.
• Perform advanced host and/or network-based forensics across Windows, Mac, and Linux.
• Advise organisations during threat actor activity and respond to security incidents.
• Produce high-quality written and verbal reports, presentations, and findings for customer management.
• Present technical material to both non-technical and technical audiences.
• Demonstrate thought leadership through blogs, CrowdCasts, and public speaking.
