Job summary

Lockheed Martin Australia seeks an ILS Technical Illustrator to develop multimedia content for Technical Publications and Training Development on AIR6500. The role involves creating graphics, video, and animations, interpreting engineering data, and integrating content into IETPs and training products.

You will work in an agile team with engineers, SMEs and training developers to ensure accurate, accessible visuals and effective communication of complex information across mission and support

Qualifications

• Structured Technical Publication authoring environment experience.
• Knowledge of DEF (AUST) 5629C, DEF (AUST) 5630 and S1000D specifications.
• Experience creating multimedia for courseware and training materials.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ILS multimedia artefacts across mission and support systems.
• Coordinate development, maintenance, update and revision of ILS multimedia artefacts, including graphics, video and animations.
• Create clear, accurate, user-focused graphics for Technical Publications, IETMs and training environments.
• Design and integrate computer-generated graphics, images, video and animations to communicate technical concepts.
• Interpret drawings and source material with engineers and SMEs to translate information into visuals.
• Provide guidance on multimedia design to ILS leads and customers.
• Apply configuration and change management to multimedia artefacts to keep content current.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of multimedia processes and tools.
• Experience in an S1000D ecosystem or structured Technical Publication environment is highly regarded.
