Job summary

Adactin Group is seeking a Full-Time ICT Test Engineer in Sydney. You will review designs, estimate tests, design test plans and automate where possible. The role involves functional, regression and UAT coordination in a fast-growing tech environment.

Ideal candidates have strong BI/web/mobile testing experience, ISTQB/ISEB, and hands-on automation with QTP/Selenium. You’ll work within agile teams focusing on continuous integration and high-quality software delivery.

Qualifications

Proven experience with JIRA or HP Quality Center.
Experience in IJI / Web application, Mobile App.
Knowledge of using Continuous Integration (CI).
Able to manage multiple stakeholders and reporting.
Advanced experience testing web-based solutions and large data streams.
Demonstrated test case designing and defect analysis; basic Java/.NET/SQL.
ISEB or ISTQB Testing qualification.
Experience using test automation tools like QTP, Selenium or Coded UI.
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work in global teams; Agile experience.
Certification in Agile preferred; Senior test analyst in agile SCRUM & BDD environments.

Responsibilities

Reviewing software functional designs and providing test estimations.
Designing and maintaining test plans, conditions, specs, scripts and procedures.
Requirements analysis and ensuring coverage via test cases.
Preparing detailed test docs and creating automated/manual test scripts.
Performing functional, business process and regression testing; manage builds.
Coordinate UAT and Defect Management; drive process improvements.
