Job summary

Bytewize IT Consulting seeks a seasoned Systems Engineer / Specialist Technician to support the Department of Education through the TSSP in Victoria. You will manage ICT infrastructure across schools, support staff and students, and administer complex enterprise environments.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of senior IT support experience, including TSSP or education-sector ICT, and strong Windows/Linux, virtualization, cloud, MDM and networking skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of IT industry experience, including education sector or similar enterprise environments.
• Experience in managing ICT infrastructure across multiple sites is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, virtualization, cloud services and networking.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain ICT infrastructure across Education Department schools.
• Administer school networks and server environments.
• Provide ICT support in large, technology-driven learning environments.
• Collaborate with school leadership and deliver ICT staff training.
