Job summary

Brisbane City Council is seeking a Senior Sourcing Specialist to lead strategic ICT procurement, sourcing, and contract management. You will translate business and technical needs into sourcing strategies and commercial agreements, partnering with stakeholders, project teams and suppliers to deliver value and compliance.

The role focuses on supporting the Modern ERP Program and broader ICT procurement activities, contributing to risk management and continuous improvement while ensuring probity

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading complex ICT procurement and sourcing activities including market engagement, evaluation, negotiation and contract management.
• Ability to translate business and technical requirements into procurement documentation, deliverables and commercial arrangements.
• Experience developing, negotiating and managing ICT contracts and supplier agreements using QITC or similar ICT frameworks.
• Strong procurement governance, probity, compliance and contract management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement and sourcing for ICT, technology, software, consulting and managed services.
• Develop sourcing strategies and commercial outcomes that support business objectives with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Prepare and support negotiation of ICT contracts, statements of work and variations.
• Lead supplier evaluations, assess pricing, risks and contractual obligations.
• Provide procurement support for ICT, ERP, digital and business projects while ensuring governance and probity.
• Maintain procurement records and contribute to improving sourcing processes and templates.
