Job summary

HCLTech in Sydney seeks an experienced IAM testing professional to lead and execute functional, integration, and IAM-specific validation across end-to-end workflows.

You will design test cases, validate provisioning and deprovisioning, manage defects in JIRA/ALM, and collaborate with security, development, and business teams to ensure compliant, auditable releases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Functional, Integration, or IAM Testing.
• Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management concepts, processes, and controls.
• Experience validating provisioning, deprovisioning, access certification, and RBAC.
• Solid experience in test case design, execution, defect management, and test reporting.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and reconciliation.
• Experience with batch scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, or TWS).
• Proficiency with JIRA, ALM, or similar test and defect management tools.
• Excellent communication and documentation capabilities.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Analyze business requirements, user stories, process flows, and control objectives to define comprehensive test coverage.
• Design, develop, and execute functional, integration, system, and user acceptance test cases.
• Validate end-to-end Identity and Access Management workflows, including: User onboarding and offboarding Access requests and approvals, User provisioning and deprovisioning, Role and entitlement management, Identity lifecycle management.
• Test and validate IAM, PAM, and Identity Governance solutions and integrations.
• Verify user access controls, segregation of duties (SoD), role assignments, and compliance requirements.
• Validate interfaces and integrations between IAM platforms and connected enterprise applications.
• Perform batch processing and scheduler validation using tools such as Control-M, Autosys, and Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS).
• Execute SQL-based data validation and reconciliation activities to ensure data integrity.
• Identify, document, track, and manage defects through resolution using JIRA, ALM, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and business teams to resolve issues and ensure successful delivery.
• Prepare test execution reports, validation evidence, and quality sign-off recommendations.
• Support audit, compliance, and governance requirements by ensuring adequate testing controls and documentation.

Mandatory skills

5+ years of experience in Functional, Integration, or IAM Testing.

Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management concepts, processes, and controls.

Experience validating provisioning, deprovisioning, access certification, and role-based access control processes.

Solid experience in test case design, execution, defect management, and test reporting.
