Job summary

Entura is seeking a Senior Hydrologist to lead and deliver a broad range of hydrological projects, including natural systems, storages, spillways, gauging stations, and renewable energy infrastructure. You will lead project teams, provide high-level technical advice and collaborate across client engagements.

The role emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and professional growth in a flexible work environment with teams in Melbourne or Hobart. Experience in consulting and ARCGIS/QGIS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in civil or environmental engineering, science or hydrology as required for admission as a member of Engineers Australia or equivalent.
• Strong experience with Australian hydrological and hydraulic practices including current design guidelines and standards.
• Use of ARCGIS/QGIS for catchment mapping and hydrologic analysis.
• Demonstrated experience in a consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage hydrological projects related to natural systems, storages, spillways, gauging stations, dams, weirs, hydroelectric power stations and renewable energy infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the team to grow the business through efficient project delivery while focusing on quality, innovation, training and new methodologies.
