Job summary

Unknown is seeking a Senior Hydraulic Designer to expand its Building Services team. The role focuses on providing expert hydraulic design across multiple service streams, from space planning in early stages to detailed design and documentation.

The candidate will engage with stakeholders and clients, delivering innovative, cost-effective solutions and ensuring adherence to codes and standards. Central Brisbane/Gold Coast locations offer an excellent working environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of site experience as a qualified plumber; experience as plumbing supervisor preferred.
• TAFE NSW plumbing diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years in a locally based design office.
• Strong knowledge of Building Code of Australia, Australian/NZ standards and local codes.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and Office Project.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong Excel skills.
• Self-motivated; able to work independently and with a team.
• Passion for Hydraulic Services.

Responsibilities

• Meet with stakeholders and clients early in projects to provide Space Planning advice and Concept Design.
• Provide detailed design and documentation for potable water, drainage and gas systems.
• Develop innovative, cost-effective hydraulic designs across multiple service streams.
• Consult across all project delivery phases from inception to completion.
