Job summary

MCA Engineering is seeking a Senior Hydraulic Engineer to lead hydraulic design across building services projects. You will own concept and detailed designs, prepare drawings and specs, and guide delivery from planning through to site handover.

You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while ensuring compliance with Australian standards and project schedules. Hybrid work options and a strong safety focus are offered.

Qualifications

5–10 years of hydraulic engineering experience.
Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, particularly AS 3500.
Ability to mentor junior engineers.
Experience in project planning and coordination.

Responsibilities

Undertake concept and detailed hydraulic services design.
Prepare technical drawings, specifications, reports, and construction documentation.
Support project planning, coordination, and delivery.
Conduct site inspections and building surveys.
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
Attend project meetings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
