Job summary

Downer is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead major HV transmission line projects within our Energy and Utilities business. You will oversee delivery teams, drive safe, profitable and high-quality outcomes, and build strong client relationships across Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney locations.

You will be responsible for project planning, programming and execution, managing performance across safety, cost and schedule, and supporting tender development for future opportunities.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong commercial, financial and contract management capability.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed project teams.
• Experience in project planning, programming and execution.
• PMBOK and/or CPPD accreditation will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Leading the delivery of complex HV transmission line construction projects and portfolios.
• Managing project performance across safety, cost, quality, schedule and client satisfaction.
• Driving financial outcomes including revenue, EBIT, cash flow, forecasting and commercial performance.
• Providing leadership, coaching and development to multidisciplinary project teams.
• Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Supporting tender development, planning and execution strategies for future opportunities.
• Championing a strong Zero Harm culture across all project activities.
