Job description

Senior Human Resources Business Partner (12-month FTC)

Are you ready to get the Easygo Edge?If you do your best work close to the action, this one's for you. Easygo is one of Australia's top tech companies, the crew behind Stake and KICK, reaching millions of people every day. This role puts you right where the fast-moving decisions get made, partnering with leaders across some of our most technical and innovative teams. You'll have the autonomy to understand complex business challenges, shape people strategy and drive meaningful outcomes in a business growing at pace.

What you'll build with us:No two Service Lines run the same playbook here. The work starts with reading each one's context, diagnosing what's holding it back and building people plans that move the needle. From there, it's partnering with senior people leaders on org design, workforce planning and the structural calls that shape how divisions scale. It's real ownership, from shaping what gets built to connecting the business with everything P&C offers. We know that innovation ignites when we build and create together, in person. This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term opportunity covering maternity leave, based at our Melbourne office. You'll work right where it all happens, surrounded by our fearless crew shipping high-impact work.

Who is Easygo?
We're a high-growth, high-velocity tech company with millions of eyeballs on us every day. We're building the future of fearless tech.

We're the creators behind some of the most popular brands including Stake, KICK and Easygo Games. While they command a fierce global following, our crew is employed directly by Easygo and that's where the real fun happens.

We're always looking for people who are hungry, humble and move fast. People who are ready to Unify, Disrupt and Evolve with us.

With us you'll grow faster and go further. Your work has impact. And that gives you an edge you can't get anywhere else.

The impact you'll make:

Strategic Partnership

  • Build deep business context for your portfolio and be a trusted advisor to leaders and their teams.
  • Co-create people plans with your leaders, grounded in data, that set out the problems to solve and opportunities to chase.
  • Partner with senior leaders on organisational design, workforce planning, talent strategy and performance, helping build effective team structures and leadership capability as the business scales.
  • Use data and insights to diagnose root causes, coach leaders and orchestrate delivery through the right centres of excellence.

Cyclical Program Execution

  • Lead the delivery of cyclical people programs across your portfolio, so every area gets a consistent experience.
  • Make cyclical programs count as real data and feedback loops, not compliance checkboxes.
  • Work with centres of excellence to keep improving how these programs run.

Employee Relations & Leadership Enablement

  • Give pragmatic guidance on ER matters, from performance management to separations, keeping outcomes fair and compliant.
  • Coach leaders to handle people matters themselves, reducing day-to-day reliance on HR over time.
  • Lead formal investigations and complex ER matters end to end.
  • Spot patterns in ER activity and surface systemic risks to leadership with recommended fixes.

Your track record:

  • Proven senior partnering experience, owning and delivering business outcomes through a people lens.
  • A track record of coaching and influencing senior leaders, holding a position and landing tough messages without losing the relationship.
  • Building and executing people plans grounded in data and measurable against commercial outcomes.
  • Managing the full spectrum of ER matters, from performance management to complex separations, across Australian employment law.
  • Leading cyclical people programs like performance cycles, remuneration reviews and workforce planning, on time and to a high standard.
  • Strong commercial acumen and data literacy, talking business numbers first and turning workforce insights into a compelling story.
  • Experience partnering with leaders across technical, product or similarly complex business functions, with an understanding of the workforce challenges, talent dynamics and organisational structures that support high-performing teams.

Bonus points if you also have:

  • Experience across centres of excellence, knowing what TA, L&D, Reward, Talent, Work Ex, Internal Comms and People Ops do and how to orchestrate them..
  • Familiarity with people tech platforms, engagement and performance tools.
  • Tertiary qualification in HR, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Here are our benefits and perks:
