• $107,154 - $111,619 pro rata per annum (LGIA Stream A Level 5) + Superannuation

Your new role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Human Resource Business Partner (SHRBP) to join our team at Council.

As an advisor and trusted partner to senior leadership and employees, you will play a pivotal role in aligning human resource initiatives with the organisation's goals. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned HR professional to drive meaningful change and contribute to a thriving workplace.

This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

• An experienced Senior HR Business Partner who can collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Ability to provide expert advice on organisational design, workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning.
• Someone who can act as a trusted advisor on complex employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment laws and policy & procedures.
• Ability to Analyse HR metrics and trends to provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Passionate person with a positive personality to drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.

• Demonstrated experience providing contemporary HR business partnering support to operational leaders within a complex organisation.
• Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying employment legislation, enterprise agreements, policies, and procedures to manage organisational risk and support decision-making.
• Proven ability to manage complex employee and industrial relations matters, including performance management, misconduct, grievances, and organisational change.
• Highly developed stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted partnerships and coach leaders to achieve people and organisational outcomes.
