Job summary

Arafura Rare Earths Limited is delivering the Nolans Project in the Northern Territory. The Senior Advisor will own health and safety assurance for the Owner's Team on site, a 15/6 FIFO role located at Nolans where work is happening.

The role involves verifying contractor safety management, incident investigations, and the application of hazard reporting and permit-to-work processes within an EPCM framework.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience verifying compliance and contractor performance on major resources, infrastructure, energy or industrial construction projects.
• Experience working within an Owner's Team on EPCM led projects, ideally in a second line assurance role.
• Strong knowledge of work health and safety legislation in Northern Territory and duties of Principal Contractor/PCBU.

Responsibilities

• Provide verification and assurance over how EPCM implements and manages safety systems and processes.
• Develop and execute field verification program including inspections and audits across high-risk areas.
• Produce compliance registers, evidence and reporting for Site Manager and leadership.
• Oversee incident investigations and follow-up to confirm corrective actions are effective.
