Multicultural Consulting Services Pty in Sydney, NSW, seeks a senior safety adviser to provide expert HSE guidance on a solar infrastructure project in the NSW Upper Hunter Valley. The role is site-based with a rostered DIDO arrangement, including accommodation where applicable.

You will review risk registers, coach contractors, coordinate training, inspect high-risk work, and prepare audits to support the Safety Manager and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or advanced diploma in HSE or related discipline required; related degree preferred.
• Certificate IV in WHS and a current C-class driver's licence.
• At least six years as an HSE practitioner.
• Return-to-work coordinator certificate.
• Training/assessment, safety internal-auditor and ICAM credentials desirable.
• Knowledge of statutory requirements across jurisdictions.
• Experience in audits, corrective-action reporting and safety training.
• Effective communication and leadership.

Responsabilités

• Review risk registers and safety plans; implement controls.
• Coach contractors on safe work methods, permits, inductions, pre-starts and plant checks.
• Coordinate training, emergency procedures and competence verification.
• Inspect high-risk work, equipment and site records and support fitness-for-work monitoring.
• Prepare management-system audits, reports and corrective-action tracking.
• Support incident prevention and practical collaboration with project stakeholders.
