Job summary

UGL is seeking a Senior HSE Advisor for a Solar Farm FIFO role based in Mount Isa. The role focuses on partnering with project leaders to manage risk, mentor field teams and drive continuous safety improvements on a greenfield/brownfield mix.

You will lead investigations, audits and safety initiatives across civil, electrical, high-voltage and commissioning works, while building strong relationships with operations and contractors on site.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior HSE Advisor on renewable energy projects is required.
• Strong ability to influence people at all levels and foster safe behaviours.
• Proven experience leading investigations, managing risk and driving safety improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support project leaders and crews to manage risk and sustain a strong safety culture.
• Coach and mentor HSE Advisors and field teams across construction activities.
• Lead investigations, risk reviews, audits and site inspections to identify improvement opportunities.
• Build positive relationships across the workforce and drive engagement in safety initiatives.
• Provide practical advice to ensure compliance with project, client and legislative requirements.
