UGL is seeking a Senior HSE Advisor for a Solar Farm FIFO role based in Mount Isa. The role focuses on partnering with project leaders to manage risk, mentor field teams and drive continuous safety improvements on a greenfield/brownfield mix.
You will lead investigations, audits and safety initiatives across civil, electrical, high-voltage and commissioning works, while building strong relationships with operations and contractors on site.
Join UGL at the forefront of Australia's energy transition. Having delivered 13 solar farms and 14 Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across the country, we're continuing to grow our renewable energy portfolio and creating long-term career opportunities for our people
The project builds on UGL’s earlier work in Mount Isa, which was successfully completed in 2021. The new project is a greenfield extension, connecting into an existing live solar farm, creating an interesting mix of new construction and brownfield interfaces.
This is a hands-on, site-based role for someone who enjoys being out in the field, building relationships and working closely with operational teams.
You’ll act as a trusted safety partner across the project, helping leaders manage risk, supporting frontline crews and mentoring HSE team members.
