Job summary

Drake International is seeking an experienced Director of New Business Development to lead the growth of our HR Advisory & People Solutions practice across Australia and New Zealand. This senior, revenue-generating role targets C-suite opportunities and expands the Drake value proposition across HR Advisory, Workforce Solutions, Wellbeing and Assessment services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in business development or consultative sales in HR consulting or advisory environments.
• Proven track record engaging and selling to C-level executives in small to mid-sized organisations.
• Expertise across HR domains such as HR strategy, talent acquisition, total rewards, performance management, employee relations, organisational design or change management.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Established network of HR and business leaders in the ANZ region is a strong asset.
• Self-directed and entrepreneurial mindset in a flexible environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve annual revenue targets across HR Advisory & People Solutions.
• Build and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects across target industries.
• Drive full-cycle sales from prospecting through proposal, negotiation, and close.
• Engage senior leaders (CEOs, CHROs, COOs, CFOs) to translate needs into tailored solutions.
• Ensure seamless handoff to delivery and advisory teams for a high-quality client experience.
• Monitor client satisfaction and address service issues to protect and grow accounts.
• Expand revenue within existing accounts through cross-sell and upsell of Drake services.
• Represent Drake at industry events and professional networks.
• Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, and forecast records and report to leadership.
