Job summary

Bayside Group is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner in Sydney to own the HR function and partner with senior leadership. This role blends strategic HR partnering with hands-on HR activities to influence culture, talent and the employee experience.

The successful candidate will work with senior leaders on people strategy, recruitment and lifecycle activities, and be responsible for employment compliance and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of generalist HR experience, ideally at HRBP level.
• Strong employee relations, recruitment and workforce planning experience.
• Commercially minded with confidence partnering with senior leaders.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation.
• Proactive, resilient and able to work autonomously.
• HRIS experience; Bob experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders on people strategy and workforce planning.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle activities.
• Provide advice across employee relations, performance and workplace matters.
• Drive employee engagement, retention and talent initiatives.
• Lead performance and career development processes.
• Support organisational change and workforce planning.
• Ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation.
• Use people data to support business and workforce decisions.
