Job summary

RACV Inverloch Resort is seeking an experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping team through a major expansion, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest service.

Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you will supervise Team Leaders and Attendants, manage rosters and budgets, and collaborate with Front Office and Maintenance to deliver exceptional experiences on Victoria's Bass Coast.

Qualifications

• Senior supervisory or managerial experience in housekeeping within hotel/resort
• Ability to lead teams through supervisors or team leaders
• Strong operational, organisational and people leadership skills
• Experience managing rosters, budgets, productivity and performance outcomes
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals and equipment
• Attention to detail and commitment to high standards
• Excellent cross‑department collaboration and communication

Responsibilities

• Lead Team Leaders and Attendants to uphold cleanliness, safety and presentation
• Deputise for the Housekeeping Manager across daily operations
• Drive performance, quality standards and service excellence
• Coordinate room allocations, schedules and workforce planning
• Monitor productivity, labour costs, and inventory levels
• Champion health, safety, risk management and compliance
• Lead training and ensure RACV service standards are met
• Collaborate with Front Office, Maintenance and other teams for guest experience
