CHCG is seeking an Experienced Archaeologist / Cultural Heritage Consultant to lead CHMP delivery and fieldwork across Victoria. You will take ownership of projects, ensuring quality reports and timely approvals, while building strong client and government agency relationships.
Applicants should have Victoria CHMP delivery experience, progress toward registration as a Victorian Heritage Advisor, and solid knowledge of Aboriginal heritage legislation. Travel across Victoria is required.
Take ownership of projects and play a key role in CHCG's continued growth.
Deliver CHMPs from commencement to approval.
Undertake field surveys, standard and complex assessments, test excavations and salvage programs.
Prepare technical reports and ACHRIS submissions.
Liaise with RAPs, clients, landowners and government agencies.
Manage proposals, budgets, schedules, client relationships and business development opportunities.
Experience delivering CHMPs in Victoria.
Registered Victorian Heritage Advisor, or eligible for registration.
Strong knowledge of the Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006, Aboriginal Heritage Regulations and Ministerial Guidelines.
Excellent technical writing, communication and project management skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple projects.
Current Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout Victoria.
