Job summary

Monadelphous Heavy Lift is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to drive technical delivery across complex heavy lift and haul projects from tender through site delivery. Based in WA, the role involves office work with eventual site mobilisations on a FIFO roster, with camp accommodation and site uplift paid in addition to base salary.

You will mentor engineers, develop lift studies, and collaborate across Tendering, Planning and HSE to ensure safe, efficient execution.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Mechanical/Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Experience in heavy lift projects on site.
• Navisworks and crane planning software experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and mentoring ability.

Responsibilities

• Support internal and external projects, delivering technical solutions.
• Develop lift/transport studies, work packs, drawings and calculations.
• Undertake route surveys and produce swept paths reports.
• Provide support and leadership mentoring junior team members.
• Work on site on FIFO roster with accommodation provided.
• Travel to sites for project planning and execution.
• Develop procedures for lift/shift operations and specialised equipment.
• Design rigging and structural supports.
• Provide structural calculations for bespoke steelwork.
• Generate workshop drawings.
• Collaborate with Tendering, Project Planning, Execution and HSE.
• Use experience across heavy lift projects to support wider team with concepts.
• Manage scope, schedule and budgets as required.
