Job summary

Aeris Resources Limited is seeking a Health & Safety Superintendent to lead Tritton Operations’ health and safety programs, with FIFO to New South Wales.

You will mentor the Health and Safety team, ensure NSW WHS compliance, embed risk-based decision making, and drive measurable improvements in safety performance across the site.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, audits, incident investigations and collaboration with operational leadership.

Qualifications

• Senior mining health and safety leadership in underground or multi-site operations.
• Strong knowledge of NSW WHS, mining legislation, reporting obligations and SMS.
• Experience in risk management, critical control assurance, audits and regulatory engagement.
• Proven capability to lead incident investigations and drive improvements.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to explain risk to frontline and leaders.
• Tertiary or vocational qualification in Work Health and Safety (Cert IV+).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and governance of Tritton’s health and safety systems across operations.
• Mentor and train the Health and Safety team and site stakeholders on procedures.
• Ensure compliance with NSW WHS and mining legislation and risk controls.
• Embed risk-based decision making and strengthen critical control management.
• Drive measurable improvement in health and safety performance.
• Lead audits and respond to regulatory requirements and investigations.
