Evolution Mining is seeking a Senior Health & Safety Advisor for Ernest Henry Operations in Australia. Qualifications

• Significant health and safety experience within mining, resources or another heavy industry environment.
• Proven experience providing operational health and safety advice and mentoring professionals.
• Strong incident investigation capability, with formal training such as ICAM or equivalent.
• Experience with safety management systems, compliance requirements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, coaching and influencing skills.
• Practical and collaborative leadership style with a passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational health and safety leadership across Ernest Henry Operations, partnering with site leaders to deliver safe outcomes.
• Lead and develop a team of Health & Safety Advisors, Occupational Health professionals and Emergency Management personnel.
• Support implementation and continuous improvement of the site's Safety and Health Management System.
• Lead and support incident investigations, ensuring quality investigations and actionable corrective actions.
• Coordinate occupational health and emergency management activities across your roster.
• Provide expert coaching and practical health and safety advice to leaders and frontline teams.
