Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking a Senior Health & Safety Advisor at Ernest Henry Operations in Queensland. You will lead a multidisciplinary safety team and partner with site leaders to strengthen health, safety and emergency management performance across the operation.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on coaching, incident investigations and continuous improvement of the site's Safety and Health Management System, ensuring a culture where wellbeing is central to daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational health and safety leadership across Ernest Henry Operations, partnering with leaders to support safe and effective outcomes
• Lead and develop a team of Health & Safety Advisors, Occupational Health professionals and Emergency Management personnel
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the site's Safety and Health Management System
• Lead and support incident investigations, ensuring quality investigations and meaningful corrective actions

This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior operational health and safety leadership role at one of Australia's premier underground mining operations.

As our Senior Health & Safety Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping health and safety performance across Ernest Henry Operations. Leading a multidisciplinary team of safety, health and emergency management professionals, you'll partner closely with operational leaders to build capability, strengthen safety systems and foster a culture where the health, safety and wellbeing of our people remains at the heart of everything we do.

This is a hands‑on leadership role that combines operational influence, team leadership and technical expertise. You'll be highly visible across site, supporting leaders and teams to continuously improve safety performance, learn from incidents and drive positive health, safety and emergency management outcomes. In this role, you’ll:
