ACCIONA is seeking a Senior Health and Safety Advisor to shape safety strategy, lead audits and risk reviews, and investigate incidents on Australia‑based defence projects. You will influence site safety culture and ensure robust Construction Safety Management Plans across ACCIONA’s projects.

You will report to the Health and Safety Manager, track injury frequency, and drive continuous improvement while fostering contractor relationships and a strong safety/environment mindset on site.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in WHS (or equivalent) required.
• Experience investigating and reporting safety incidents.
• Knowledge of risk assessments and audit procedures.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environment requirements.
• Ability to plan and organise work schedules.

Responsabilités

• Draft Construction Safety Management Plans in consultation with stakeholders.
• Develop WHS policy and conduct site audits.
• Ensure compliance with plant, equipment and workplace legislation.
• Review risks and hazards and prioritise controls by impact.
• Investigate incidents and report injury frequency rate performance.
• Build contractor relationships through transparent safety information sharing.
• Promote safety and environmental awareness with site workers.
