Job summary

MME Underground Services Pty Ltd seeks an experienced Horizontal Directional Drilling Supervisor for our Belmont facility, Perth area. The role involves daily execution of the construction plan, coordinating day labour and subcontractors, and ensuring safety and quality on Western Power projects.

With a minimum of 5 years in HDD supervision, you will read plans, manage site setup and materials, and foster strong client relationships to deliver projects efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in Supervising Horizontal Directional Drilling.
• Experience installing conduits and underground cables on Western Power projects.
• Read and interpret plans/drawings and as constructed drawings.
• Knowledge of Western Power requirements.
• Strong supervisory and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day implementation of the construction plan as delegated by the Site Manager.
• Plan, prepare, initiate, monitor, adjust and report on delivery of the works.
• Monitor day labour and subcontractors’ performance.
• Oversee site setup, mobilisation and demobilisation as directed by the Site Manager.
• Monitor availability of materials to meet work schedules.
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external clients and key stakeholders.
• Provide support for HDD Drillers and Driller Offsiders to ensure quality outcomes.
• Manage performance of day labour and subcontractors and provide coaching.
