Job summary

Genus Infrastructure is seeking experienced Horizontal Directional Drillers to join our team for underground utility installation across Western Australia. You will operate HDD equipment, read DBYD maps, and conduct pre-drill surveys while collaborating with project managers to deliver safe, efficient projects.

Your role includes monitoring depth and alignment, maintaining thorough records, and adhering to OH&S standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years industry experience in HDD or related roles.
• HR licence and excavator operator ticket.
• Construction Induction (Blue/White Card).
• Ability to read DBYD drawings and site plans.
• Safety-focused with OH&S mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) equipment to install underground utilities.
• Read dial-before-you-dig maps to locate services.
• Conduct pre-drill site surveys, including utility locates and mark outs.
• Collaborate with Project Managers & Supervisors to plan and execute drilling projects.
• Monitor drilling operations, including depth and alignment.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations throughout drilling processes.
• Maintain accurate records of drilling activities and site documentation.
