Genus Infrastructure Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Horizontal Directional Drillers for our underground utility division in the Perth area. You will operate HDD equipment to install telecommunications, water, gas and power lines, and read DBYD maps to locate services on each site.

Role requires 2+ years in the industry, HR licence, and safety-focused approach. Perth metropolitan work with some regional travel and ongoing projects through 2027. A strong pipeline awaits successful candidates.

Competenze

• Experience in horizontal directional drilling and locating underground utilities.
• Ability to read and interpret DBYD drawings and site plans.
• Maintain accurate drilling records and daily reports.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and client requirements.
• WA-based Perth region with occasional regional work.

Mansioni

• Operate and maintain HDD equipment to install underground utilities.
• Read and locate services using DBYD maps.
• Conduct pre-drill surveys including utility locates and mark-outs.
• Collaborate with project teams to plan and execute drilling projects.
• Monitor drilling depth, alignment, and other parameters.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and OH&S requirements.
• Maintain drilling records and as-built drawings.
