Job summary

PwC Australia is seeking a Senior Guidewire Developer to lead a team delivering Guidewire implementations for General Insurance clients. You’ll drive real-time enterprise system integration, contribute to architecture, and work across Guidewire Core, Cloud, and related platforms.

You’ll guide developers, collaborate with broader technology teams, and mentor teams to improve quality and velocity. This role offers flexible, human-led, tech-enabled work at PwC Australia.

Qualifications

• Experience with integration to other platforms such as Document Management, Finance, Digital, etc.
• Strong business and technical communication skills (oral and written).
• Proven technical and people leadership skills; ability to lead development teams including design and code review.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and leadership to a team of developers on Guidewire implementations.
• Work across core Guidewire and related platforms and technologies (document management, finance, digital, data).
• Contribute to software architecture, design patterns and best practices.
• Identify, define and lead continuous improvement to increase quality and velocity of solutions and ways of working.
• Maintain and fix issues across environments (dev, QA, UAT, Prod) and participate in unit testing and documentation.
