Job summary

UNSW Kensington Campus is seeking a Senior Group Reporting & Consolidation Analyst to lead end-to-end group reporting, balance sheet and cashflow review, and provide insightful commentary to support senior management decisions. This role sits within the Finance team, collaborating with Partners and colleagues to ensure accurate, timely reporting.

The ideal candidate has a tertiary qualification with CA/CPA, extensive experience in management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and strong BI

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, with a CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent).
• Substantial experience in management reporting, budgeting and forecasting in a large commercial organisation.
• Proven skills in developing financial forecasting models integrating P&L, balance sheet and cashflow statements.
• Strong computer and business intelligence skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word; experience with Calumo, TM1, Hyperion Essbase, Power BI or similar tools.
• Working knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards.
• Ability to absorb information quickly and analyse complex data.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver on time.
• Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute month-end and year-end reporting packs for Parent and Group.
• Review financial performance and variances across entities.
• Collaborate with Finance Partners and Managers to ensure timely, high-quality information.
• Own end-to-end Group reporting, including assets, liabilities and headcount.
• Provide variance analysis and actionable business insights for senior management.
• Undertake balance sheet and cashflow reporting, ad-hoc analysis.
• Ensure data integrity before submission to senior management.
• Drive efficiency and improve management reporting with dashboards.
