Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Senior Specialist, GLS APAC Logistics, in Australia. The role supports in-market supply chain nodes across ANZ & PAC, coordinating storage, inventory, packaging, labeling, distribution, and transport with 3PL/LSP partners.

The job requires Thai and English proficiency, SAP experience, and 2–4 years in regulated biotech/pharma logistics. Travel is ad hoc, and the candidate will mentor junior staff while ensuring GDP/GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Thai and English (business proficiency) required.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics management, or related field.
• Proficiency in SAP, with ERP system experience to support logistics.
• 2–4 years of logistics/supply chain operations in a regulated biotech/pharma environment.
• Attention to detail and GDP knowledge for medicinal products.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience with 3PL/LSP vendors and warehouse/transport systems.
• Ability to prioritise and resolve routine issues under time pressure.
• Travel required ad hoc (~5%).

Responsibilities

• Support in-market supply chain nodes from material pickup to end-customer delivery.
• Execute day-to-day order processing, shipment tracking, and coordination with 3PL/LSP.
• Support LSP operations across product life cycle; review SOPs and GDP requirements.
• Support adherence to internal SLAs and maintain goods flow.
• Manage purchase orders, accruals, and LSP invoice audits; resolve cost variations.
• Resolve routine issues and escalate complex matters; develop fixes.
• Manage redeployments, returns, recalls, and reverse logistics per SOPs.
• Ensure GDP/GMP compliance and support GDP activities.
• Perform import/export to meet border compliance and track KPIs.
• Maintain lane mappings and support GLS directive implementation.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process simplification.
• Maintain GDP docs and SOPs; support audits and knowledge repositories.
• Support onboarding/mentoring of junior staff; cover during absences.
• Process transactions in relevant IT systems accurately and timely.
• Provide data/reporting support for distribution KPIs and operational metrics.
