Job summary

u&u Recruitment Partners is seeking a Senior GIS Developer to lead the modernisation of interactive mapping by migrating Geocortex applications to VertiGIS Studio.

The role provides specialist GIS development expertise to analyse, redesign, rebuild and deploy enterprise spatial applications, improving maintainability and reducing technical debt while supporting long-term platform sustainability. A Brisbane-based, hybrid role with 50% work-from-home option.

Qualifications

• Experience migrating Geocortex/ArcGIS Enterprise to VertiGIS Studio.
• Strong knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise components and security.
• Proficiency in .NET/C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs and database concepts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver migration of Geocortex Essentials to VertiGIS Studio Web.
• Assess and rationalise ArcGIS content including items, groups and services.
• Develop and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise apps, services, and spatial data solutions.
• Develop and maintain custom code, integrations, REST services and security controls.
• Provide architectural guidance for GIS platforms and modernization.
• Refactor .NET C# to integrate with ArcGIS Enterprise and VertiGIS Studio.
