JPS Executive Search & Selection Pty Ltd is assisting a 650+ bed regional health service in Victoria to recruit a Consultant Geriatrician for a full-time role within a mature geriatric medicine department.

The hospital offers scale, orthogeriatrics collaboration, stroke and rehabilitation interfaces, and a teaching environment with registrar supervision, located less than 2 hours from Melbourne.

Qualifications

• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) – Geriatric Medicine.
• AHPRA Specialist Registration (or eligibility).
• IMGs assessed by RACP as partially or substantially comparable.

Responsabilités

• Provide acute geriatric consult service.
• Support GEM/subacute inpatient units and rehabilitation-linked models of care.
• Engage in orthogeriatrics collaboration and stroke rehabilitation interfaces.
• Contribute to teaching and registrar supervision within a consultant-led service.

Formation

FRACP – Geriatric Medicine

Specialist Registration with AHPRA (or eligibility)

RACP assessment for international medical graduates
