Job summary

Arup Townsville invites a Geotechnical Engineer to join our expanding team delivering innovative, practical and sustainable geotechnical solutions for infrastructure projects. Based in Townsville, you will work with clients and multidisciplinary teams to investigate ground conditions, develop high-quality designs and provide technical advice across project lifecycles.

You should have a recognised Civil Engineering degree, Chartered status or progress toward Chartership, 5+ years in geotechnical

Qualifications

• recognised tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering and Chartered status or progress toward Chartership.
• 5+ years' geotechnical engineering experience on infrastructure projects.
• experience planning, managing, and interpreting geotechnical investigations.
• proficiency in gINT, OpenGround, Slope/W, PLAXIS and Leapfrog.
• strong communication, planning and organisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver geotechnical design and analysis for infrastructure projects, including reports and drawings.
• Plan, manage and supervise ground investigations and lab testing programs.
• Analyse field and lab data to develop practical geotechnical solutions.
• Manage project work packages while maintaining high technical standards.
• Build relationships with clients and project teams, providing trusted technical advice.
