Job summary

Northern Star Resources Limited seeks a Senior Geologist - Operations at our Jundee site in Western Australia. You will lead geology and diamond drill teams, ensure QAQC, interpret data, and model mineral resources to support safe, efficient operations.

The role requires hands-on leadership, extensive experience in underground mining, and strong collaboration with planning and stakeholders. You will operate on an 8:6 roster with opportunities for career progression and skill development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Geology and C Class Manual Driver's Licence.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in the resources industry, ideally underground hard rock mining.
• Hands-on experience with mining software (Datamine, Leapfrog) and QAQC, sampling, block modelling.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to drill personnel and uphold safety standards.
• Manage drill data collection/QAQC and mineral resource modelling.
• Plan drilling schedules and coordinate with mine planning.
• Ensure quarterly and semi-annual resource vs reserve reconciliations.
• Deliver projects and presentations to professional standards.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
