Job summary

Northern Star Resources currently has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Geologist – Operations to join the team at our Jundee operations. This long‑term role supports sustained operational excellence within our geology group on an 8:6 roster.

Lead safety standards, oversee drill data collection, QAQC and mineralisation modelling, coordinate high‑level planning with mine planning, and deliver resource‑versus‑reserve reconciliations and presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology and 5+ years in resources industry.
• Experience with Datamine/Leapfrog and QAQC.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to ensure safety standards in geology & diamond drill personnel.
• Manage all drill data collection and validity, interpretation updates, QAQC, and mineralisation modelling.
• High level planning, including drill scheduling, and coordination with mine planning for development and stope designs.
• Ensure quarterly and 6 monthly resource versus reserve reconciliations are completed.
• Complete project work and professional presentations as required.
• Identify, develop, and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
