APA Group is seeking a Senior Project Development Engineer - Gas Powered Generation to drive multidisciplinary development from concept to commercial operation in Brisbane or Sydney on a permanent full-time basis.

You will translate customer and business requirements into safe, compliant, robust solutions to support investment decisions and transition into project delivery, reporting to the Head of GPG Engineering Solutions.

Qualifications

• A degree in engineering with eligibility for corporate membership in Engineers Australia or an equivalent body.
• Senior engineering experience in development, design and delivery of gas-fired power generation or similar energy projects.
• Strong technical judgement and commercial awareness balancing safety, risk, performance and cost.

Responsabilités

• Lead multidisciplinary development engineering for GPG opportunities from concept through delivery and operation.
• Develop integrated power solutions covering generation tech, balance of plant, gas supply, electrical systems, grid connection and commissioning.
• Own FEED studies, design bases, technical philosophies, specs, datasheets and interface registers.
