Job summary

Light & Wonder, Inc. seeks a seasoned software engineer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality game software. You will architect critical components and work closely with a team to implement robust gaming solutions.

Expect to mentor others, lead projects, and apply your knowledge of C# or TypeScript, Unity or Godot, and CI/CD practices across the full software lifecycle in a dynamic gaming environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science, preferably BSEE, BSCE, BSEET, or BSCS, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of gaming development experience.
• 5+ years in a software development team and experience with build automation, CI, unit testing, change management and configuration management.
• Proficient in C# or TypeScript with strong OS and tooling knowledge.
• Experience with Unity or Godot game engines and a full SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver high-quality game software components and products.
• Architect and implement critical software components and games with guidance from engineers.
• Lead projects, delegate tasks, and mentor teammates.
• Write and troubleshoot code, test integrations, and ensure robust software delivery.
• Collaborate with engineers on architecture, coding standards, and system issues.
